I don't know what to think of this picture. It's wrong on so many levels...the fact I took the picture...the fact Jim felt the need to put Gabriella on Bristol...the fact that we have a dog bed on our front porch.

Visiting Uncle John & Aunt Fran

Today we visited Jim's brother, John, and his family in Melbourne. Gabriella's two cousins, Luke and Jude, were not overly thrilled about having a baby girl in their home. Luke politely asked us to take the baby home with us when we offered to leave her at his house. You can tell by the photo that Gabriella was exhausted from the trip.

Gabriella's Weight & Length Chart - 2 Months

Gabriella had her 2 month check up today, and she is a perfectly healthy baby! She is 11 lbs. 15 oz. which is in the 80th percentile. Her length is in the 97 percentile at 24 inches (we are not sure where she gets her height from), and her head is 15.6 inches in the 70th percentile. To sum it all up...Gabriella is not missing any meals!

Aunt Devon's Visit!

Finally! Devon came and visited us! It only took her 2 months to get down here to meet Gabriella...but who's counting.

Mom April 18th

My mom came and visited this weekend! We had a blast! All of us, including Gabriella, went to happy hour on Friday afternoon. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather while Gabriella snoozed in her stroller. To quote a line from Sweet Home Alabama, "Look at you. You have a baby...in a bar."

She's a Rock Star!

It takes one cool kid to be able to pull off a mohawk and big framed sunglasses. Yes, I am aware that these are the pictures that she could resent me for later in life. I can't resist though. Jim, however, is in full agreement with all of you "haters." He doesn't think a person should dress a baby up in silly outfits. I tried to tell him this is not silly...it's high fashion.

Gabriella's birthday!

Gabriella Anne Parker was born on February 25, 2008 at 6:17pm. She was 8 lbs. and 21 inches long. From the very beginning Gabriella was a calm baby who's personality definitely reflected Jim's and not mine.
